Like most couples, we find ourselves splitting our time between both of our families so our Thursday always ends up being super long. The amazing part about it, is that our families are so different from each other and the foods that are prepared are so distinct that we can keep stuffing our faces, without getting tired of what we are eating. Every year, I feel like I gained a hundred pounds. But let me tell you, its so worth it!
I wore this outfit to work recently. It's been interesting trying to switch things up regarding my work-wear, finding new ways to mix old pieces, and discovering new combinations. I am quite proud of this one!
You can't see it very well, but the skirt is a gorgeous maroon color. My friend found it at Marshall's and loved it, but lucky for me it was a bit too big for her. I snatched that baby right up. And while it is a little looser than I think its supposed to be, its barely noticeable. So glad she is skinnier than me. haha.
Well, I guess I am off now, probably somewhere in the air flying off into the distance...dreaming of dancing turkeys, cranberry sauce, and stuffing.
How did you guys spend Thanksgiving? What is your favorite memory or dish? Do you bounce between families too? Whichever way you all spent it, I hope you had an amazing time!
